Units in Current CSX Scheme / CSX-yn3 This newest scheme rolled out in February 2002. The yellow has changed to Dulux Gold, and the gray has been completely eliminated. The fuel tank and trucks remain black. The slanted design of the nose is gone from the front.

The CSX Yn3, or "Dark Future" is a livery used by CSX Transportation since February of 2002 featured in Train Sim World. Currently, this livery is featured in NEC: New York since March 2018 release. The livery features a blue locomotive with a yellow nose at the end, and at the back.

Another popular scheme during this time was the “Yn3” scheme. This scheme had a yellow nose, blue body, and black accents. The Yn3 scheme was intended to pay homage to the company’s heritage, incorporating elements from previous paint schemes. In recent years, CSX has introduced several new paint schemes.

2006年8月27日 · What color is the best match for CSX YN3 Blue? I’ve always thought it looked very close to C&O Enchantment Blue. In fact that paint scheme reminds me of their yellow-nosed GP30’s, GP/SD35’s and SD40’s during the early Sixties. I haven’t acquired or painted any YN3’s on my roster yet, I’m doing early 1990’s.
