Ashland is an 'L' station on the CTA's Green and Pink Lines. It is an elevated station with two side platforms, located in Chicago's Near West Side neighborhood at 1601 West Lake Street. Just to the west of the station, the Pink Line branches off from the Lake Street branch to follow the Paulina Connector to the Douglas branch.

This line is also the only route with three terminals: trains departing Harlem/Lake alternate destinations between Ashland/63rd and Cottage Grove. The Green Line utilizes the system's oldest segments, dating back to 1892.

Ashland/63rd is an 'L' station and the terminal of the CTA Green Line's Ashland branch, located in the West Englewood neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Situating at 6315 S. Ashland Avenue, the station contains a Park 'n' ride lot with 235 spaces as well as a Kiss 'n' Ride lane.

For stations north of Garfield, Green Line runs every 7-8 minutes on weekdays during peak hours, every 10 minutes midday, and every 15 minutes evening. Runs every 10-12 on weekends. Service on the southern branches (to Ashland/63rd and Cottage Grove) is half as frequent as on the main line. Trains from the north alternate between the branches.
