Though not completed in time to participate in the Iconian War, the Damar-class served the Union in later conflicts of the 25th century. The CUV Tain, prototype of the class, was launched in late 2410 and followed a few weeks later by the CUV Letau.

"CUV" (Cardassian Union Vessel) was a three-letter prefix appearing before the name of Cardassian Union Self-Defense starships. This prefix was in use by the 25th century. In the 2410s decade, the CUV Damar carried the CUV prefix.

2022年2月6日 · I bought 2 STO Eaglemoss models (USS Buran and CUV Damar) and got them today. In the Buran's box was a code for 50% off a T6 ship, but nothing in the Damar's box. I wasn't expecting anything like this, but kind of surprised it wasn't in both. Anyone know if it's just in some models? Did I win some sort of mini-lotto?
