The original Oculus Rift (AKA the CV1) was the first VR headset I ever bought myself, after first trying the PSVR at a friend's house. I remember being blown away by the feeling of being in the world of whatever game I was playing.

2022年8月6日 · The Rift cv1 will have a bit better PCVR performance but the Q1 is more versatile (standalone, PCVR with Link or wireless with Air Link). I’ve owned both and I think the cv1 was the better PCVR headset. Also its controllers were more robust and had much longer battery life.

The Rift CV1 was a bold statement by an enthusiastic Oculus. The Rift S is a safe, committee designed "product". I'm not saying I agree with design decisions made on the Rift S btw. They definitely should have included the same rift cv1 headphones.

2016年4月24日 · Yeah, it solved my problem. More specifically, it was detecting the sensor but refusing to acknowledge the headset's existence, even when I swapped the ports. What I did was look up my motherboard and find the drivers for the built-in USB3 ports there. I installed those over the Windows ones, and the ports started working again.

2020年5月22日 · The headset is plugged into the GPU directly and receiving signal from HDMI in some way but not as intended (this'll be explained below). 2020年10月20日 · As CV1 owner, I assume when I switch to inside-out tracked headset that I got some different blind spots for tracking than I got now, and possibly once in a while an occlusion issue. But controllers shaking in VR while not moving them IRL seems like something which really shouldnt happen.
