It maintains a better tension, power etc on the CVT this helping the CVT perform in it's "preferred range" of operation. The car was noticeably smoother. I will change it again soon due to the condition of the original fluid. Valvoline's Product Sheet states it can be used for NS-2 and NS-2.

2005年12月26日 · Well, the back of Nissan's OEM CVT NS3 bottle says "Made in USA" and "Distributed by Nissan North America" out of Franklin, TN. Maybe they're using Idemitsu and not Eneos. Either way, it's speculation. This thread was started with "I want genuine, NS3 licensed fluid". There's no other licensed NS3 fluid besides what Nissan sells.

2008年4月9日 · Eneos Eco CVT fluid is blue as blue can be. Works great too. I did not change my CVT fluid until 283,500 miles. I now have 328,000 miles on my 08 Nissan Altima VQ with a xtronic CVT. The Eneos Eco CVT does help quiet down the transmission a whole lot.

I know that Castrol Transmax CVT has a 'suitable for' NS3 spec on bottle, 6 pack currently ~$35 on Amazon. Valvoline also CVT fluid with their 'recommended for NS3 spec'. The name it as a Full Synthetic CVT fluid.
