2023年4月13日 · I’m one of the only Candy Kong fans I think. Would be too weird for DK to date a human, but I like the idea of DK saving Pauline from K. Rool in a DK movie and his heroism being the reason mayor Pauline remakes the city from Brooklyn to New Donk City.

2018年9月17日 · Soooo this is a figure that I'm fairly confident WON will not bother making: Candy Kong. She was made by the Takara company and I bought her on Ebay for $30 and added my own stand since she doesn't stand up independently. I'm super excited that she scales pretty well with my current DK figures.

2022年6月17日 · Maybe if Candy Kong would at least have more personality, then I would be okay with her. But until that happens, she is the one character of this series that I'm happy with, if she never returns. Yes, I dislike her more than Kiddy Kong.

2024年2月4日 · Candy Kong I wanted to redesign entirely in a attempt to make her less creep and sexualized... and I'm pretty sure I failed, she's still too "human" but I like certain aspects, like giving her a bow like she had in DKC1 and while the pricing have no origin, they just look cool

2021年7月24日 · Candy has always been my least favourite of the recurring DK cast. I think the cartoon interpretation is the best - she's annoying, shouty, demanding, and obnoxious, but at the very least she actually has a personality beyond just "love interest".

2022年8月14日 · Anyway, the point is, people have an issue with Candy Kong, for being a very sexualized character, and nothing more. I also do not like Candy at all, but for me, it has not to do with her looks, but rather that she has almost done nothing in the DK series. If I fixed Candy, I would give her more personality.

2023年3月11日 · Tiny Kong could return, but here they have to give Tiny her kid design back. Then no one will have an issue with her. Candy on the other hand is, together with Dixie and Wrinkly Kong, one of the biggest female faces in this series. I think they will keep her but will re-design her drastically.
