2020年2月18日 · You can pick up a used Canon EOS Rebel T3i (600D) DSLR for under $200 on eBay, and it will likely include a kit lens (18-55) with it. This will, of course, be a stock model of the camera, but you can modify it by removing the internal IR cut filter (more on this a little later).

2020年2月26日 · I'm doing Astrophotography since about 4 years, mainly with an unmod Canon EOS 100d and my TS71SDQ. Now, I want to replace the 100d by another camera and use the 100d for wide fields. After a while of research, I found the Canon EOS 60d, 600d and 650d. Does anybody have experience with at least one of these models or can recommend one model?

2022年1月3日 · I do some basic astrophotography with a 600D, Samyang 14mm f2.8, Canon 50mm f1.8 and a Sigma 50-200mm f4-5,6 on a AZ-GTI. I am reasonably happy with the setup, but I am considering upgrading the camera.

2021年3月31日 · The 600D is an upgrade of the 550D, but for astrophotography the main thing is the sensor, which in this case is the same. In a modded version, the filter in front of the sensor is replaced or removed, gaining a factor of three in sensitivity in H-alpha.

Since i need it for very long exposure times does it have bulb mode? Also what do you recommend for astrophotography? Lenses etc..

Variations in filtered raw data vary from deleting stars to turning star color to green or magenta (there are no green or magenta stars).

2017年3月25日 · I have Canon 600d and Canon 10-18mm f4.5-5.6 wide angle lens. For capturing milky way or sky, I would keep my dslr in manual mode - bulb mode, timer as 30 secs or less to make sure there are no star trails, f5 is minimum at 10mm and ISO between 400 - 1600? What settings should I keep?
