Caroline Abbey Crenshaw[1] is an American attorney serving as a commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Crenshaw received her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude from Harvard College in 2004 and her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2009. [2][3]

Caroline A. Crenshaw was unanimously confirmed by the U.S. Senate, and sworn into office as Commissioner of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on August 17, 2020. Commissioner Crenshaw brings to the SEC a range of securities law and policy experience and a commitment to public service and the SEC’s mission.
