2012年9月19日 · Now, the MB series are great little amps. The MB10 & MB15 are both sealed cabs. The Speaker in the MB15 really fills up darn near the whole box. Not a ton of room for air movement. So, as also with MB10, the MB15 has a Very Pronounced MID RANGE and not much on the Low end, or Volume, from what I have heard.

2006年6月20日 · Has anyone bought the Carvin MB10 Micro Combo? I'm looking for something light and tone-heavy. I've had Carvin heads before and loved them. I just was wondering what anyone's experience with this particular amp was. I'm especially interested with how it performed at gigs. Camparisons with Genz, MarkBass and other micros would be great! 2012年6月17日 · The MB10 makes my bass sound like a bass: woody, open, with enough finger-sound to sound “live,” but not brittle or screechy. It’s especially natural-sounding up the finger-board, but clear and defined down at the nut. 2004年7月3日 · Obviously this is not designed with the EUB player in mind, but it was tweakable and the little amp Carvin puts in the combo is certainly versatile. At 26#, haul in/load-out is a cinch. And $369 shipped is a great price.

2012年4月18日 · On YouTube, I entered carvin mb 10. The fourth video that's listed is by OTOYAMOVIE. They demonstrate the MB10 without an extension cabinet, and they show the tone-control settings. It's much more useful than anything else I'd found.

2018年4月12日 · I have a Carvin MB10, a nice little amp, that I use for rehearsals. We get a little loud sometimes, and unfortunately I overdid it and damaged the 10" speaker. The HF horn seems to be undamaged. Can anyone recommend a good replacement speaker? Maybe something a bit more robust that can handle a little more volume?

2013年10月14日 · I've been looking at the Carvin MB10 because it has the power and jack to run an ext. speaker. It has a XLR DI (unlike my Fender which has a 1/4" DI). At 23 lbs it's light enough and at $325 (with shipping) the price is right.

2009年12月10日 · I realize that I'm reviving a Zombie thread here, but just in case anyone else in the future is trying to find a replacement for a Carvin PS10 driver / speaker, the MCM folks claimed that their MCM 55-1740 was a "drop in replacement for the Carvin PS10" so just another model that might be available somewhere as another option.
