I have a maintenance manual but not an operators manual and maintenance manual doesn't say anything about checking the oil.

They both have around 4,500 hours, undercarriage is in real good shape, and the Deere is $4,000.00 less in price. Anyone have any pros or cons in regards to the 2 dozers.

2021年12月27日 · Our Case 850g dozer has developed a new issue. the right track does not operate forward or back in any either range. It apparently had happened very intermittently the past month or so. It would be running fine then the right side would stop for a minute but start rolling again. the left side track has no issue.

2022年11月14日 · I purchased a Case 850G that's in good condition. Just finished a farm pond with it and it did a good job. The brakes work sometimes and sometimes they don't. I checked the wear pins and they're sticking out about 1/8". Should be good? The brake valve makes a hissing sound when you hit the brakes like an air leak.

2013年6月9日 · I have just picked up an old case 850 drott for farm duties, I think it may be around 1974 mod. It needs the track adjusters rebuilt on both sides. [ old rusted and some parts missing]I have the ability to correct this problem. The trans is low on oil, just on the oil dip stick, and I've been told to check the filter for particles.
