2021年10月4日 · Vaguely, I think it was something like "Casita - A to Z". I am sure someone will correct me accordingly. I have not yet invested in the book. What I have found quite lacking with regards to documentation from Casita, are the wiring and plumbing diagrams for the trailer. I would have thought Casita would have included that as part of their own book.

2025年2月25日 · People often object to Scamp and Casita's factory delivery service by tow with wheels on the ground. However with low-bid flatbed service, loading and unloading can be problematic without proper training, equipment, and a loading dock on both ends. I recall one person on the forum had a new trailer- maybe a Happier Camper- delivered by flatbed.

2023年3月8日 · It was a royal pain to run the 6 awg wire from the engine to the back of the Odyssey. Another wire was run from the front of the camper to the charger with an Anderson connector to plug the camper into the Odyssey. I will NEVER do that again. Solar is so much easier and just plain works. But for Amy's needs I question she needs solar. Enjoy, Perry

2018年6月20日 · I live in Houston TX, Casita is about 3 hours from me but I selected a standard 16-ft Scamp SD/FB. The reason I go for Scamp is: COST Casita cost was about $4000 more than the Scamp with the same equipment. WEIGHT Scamp is lighter, cheaper to tow. BATTERY is located out side the trailer body less chance of a problem.

2013年1月16日 · According to the Casita website, the Roof mounted Air Conditioner is "a base model feature" on the 17' Spirit Deluxe and the overall height is 8' 11". I interpret that to mean that the Air Conditioner comes standard (not as an optional extra) so it is included in the overall height measurement. It also comes with 15" load range C tires.

2018年9月30日 · Now we need to track down or replace our leaky windows in our 1994 Casita 16' camper. I assumed that the windows on the Casita web store would work and they won't because they are slightly different sizes AND different curve. If they were just larger I would cut out the window larger, but I'm afraid if the curve is different then that won't work.

2012年8月9日 · The Casita Carpet is bonded to the foam rubber backing from the mill. Then Casita glues it to the fiberglass shell. The carpet is 3/16" thick and the foam rubber backing is 1/2" thick. Unless the carpet is damaged it can be cleaned. I used a carpet cleaning service to shampoo the interior of both my 13' and 17' Casitas. Cost about $ 100 to $ 150.
