Do i need to put a very experienced operators on this piece? It has fingertip steering, electric throttle, joystick blade control. 3450 hours, new undercarriage.

2019年2月19日 · Any of u guys run a cat D5N xl with a ripper attachment? Very curious if it's worth the cost to add it to my machine? Obviously a 5 is only 28000 lbs, so you're not gonna rip rock, but what is it realistically good to handle? I use my dozers to install alot of parking lots, thinking about using it to break up hard pack for subgrade finishing.

2023年1月10日 · Hello, 2004 Cat D5N XL Ser aggo1698. Local cat mechanic said I needed a new transmission temp sensor. He told me about where to find it but having trouble locating it. Dropped the belly pan and he said it would be in the side of the tranny. Does any one have a sketch of that on the side of the transmission. Thanks in advance!

2017年4月19日 · I have run both of the machines you are referring to. Maybe 500 hours on the Xl and 4000 Plus hrs on an LGP. The LGP was my favorite. It does outstanding finish work in unbelievable wet conditions and slopes 2/1 and steeper depending on conditions. The XL will serve you well but it has its limits compared to the LGP. I would not recommend a D6M.
