2022年1月17日 · I hear all the time how Cataclysm is one of the easiest extreme demons, yet it confuses me because I currently have 84% on Acu, and after doing a few practice runs on Cataclysm, I can conclude that Acu is hundreds of times easier. Edit: To further clarify. I hear people say both Acu and Cata are easy extremes but Acu is way easier.

2022年12月1日 · I've been on and off on GD for quite some time now and, like in basically every hobby/game in my life, I've never been consistent because I usually get bored when progress slows down. Hence reaching my skill "soft cap" pretty quickly and never pushing pass that.

Cataclysm like many other 1.9 extremes are super iconic. Its like the nightmare. If the nightmare came out today it would probably be harder 6 stars at most. But its an iconic level that was very difficult for its time. Even though the community has gotten better at gd over the years all that does is increase the skill ceiling.

Well, cataclysm took me ~12k attempts, when my previous hardest was spacelocked II (easy insane demon). I think the best way to practice is using start positions, I can't really help you with the cube, since it never caused me issues.

2023年3月29日 · It gets consistent, but requires a lot of practice. There's a level called "Cataclysm first wave" by PEEPS111, It's the first wave 3 times in a row. After I beat it, the wave became much more consistent. It's mostly muscle memory so focus on the rhythm.

2021年1月26日 · People weren't even close at all in skill, since Cataclysm was made on early 1.9, which LOTS of people just got to the game due to well, 1.9 being a complete revolution compared to every other update, so lots of new players were very surprised to see something that difficult, not only that, but the first wave at 6% is still really annoying ...

2024年1月8日 · Hey so I’ve recently picked up Cataclysm as my first extreme demon (jump from Windy Landscape). I’ve gotten to a point now where I can do almost every section in the level perfectly apart from three. They are the first wave, the 40% ship, and the last ship.
