2021年5月3日 · The CCIP mode is a computed visual delivery mode with manual weapon release. This mode allows a high degree of flexibility since the point on the ground at which the weapon will impact is continuously indicated by a CCIP Bombing Cross on the HUD. No target designation is required. In essence, place the thing on the thing and drop the bomb.

After finally getting back into the Hornet I tried some rocket and bomb work tonight but the HUD symbols appear to be screwed. Auto bomb drop would show a continuous turn rather than the path to target. CCIP bomb would show a 45 degree line and would not update due to speed, altitude or attitude.

2024年5月23日 · Recently I encountered some sort of a bug on my F/A-18. Whenever I go to A/G mode to drop bombs, MK-83's and 84's, the CCIP mode is flickering and the line is to the side even on level flight, and when I switch to manual targeting, the bombs fall short on the actual target even when I set the reticle correctly.
