2024年3月10日 · Here's another custom ordered planter. This thing is massive. I can hardly lift it. It has a planting area of 24 x 48 with almost 20" of soil depth. It is 36" tall for less bending. All solid cedar, made with 2x4's and 5/4 decking.

An acquaintance insisted on buying the same size and length cedar boards from a Big Box for $14.80 each. Mine are smoother, with less cracks, fewer imperfections and are better milled. Real LumberJocks buy real lumber. <grin>

2024年2月1日 · I am building an outdoor bench using 2x4 SFP and wondering what kind of finish is best in terms or durability and ease of maintenance. I was thinking of first applying interior stain (I know it's for interior but I have lots on hand from other projects) and then seal with with something like Thompson clear sealer.
