2023年5月9日 · CENOMAR/CEMAR is required for pretty much any beneficiary 18 or older if marital status has anything at all to do with their visa category. Under 18 doesn't need one. US Citizen petitioners that are a duel or former Filipino citizens need one if they lived in the Philippines more than a year as an adult.

2019年5月2日 · No .. if the CO asks about it just explain there was an issue. Up until a couple months ago all documents were hand carried to the interview .. I would not stress on this as the embassy really wants the original documents (CENOMAR/CEMAR, NBI, birth certificate)

2018年9月17日 · The CEMAR is not the same as the Marriage Certificate ... and you need both for the interview. BIRTH CERTIFICATE / MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE (if applicable). Must be issued on security paper by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), formerly NSO (NOT from the Local Civil Registry Office).

Actually, I was asked for the CEMAR by the Filipino pre-screener. It was the first thing that was asked from me. I politely explained to the pre-screener why I didn't have it.

2018年12月26日 · No problem with CFO and the CEMAR, w/divorce decree .. I know a fair number that had foreign divorces that presented a CEMAR (along with copy of the divorce decree) to CFO .. all completed the seminar and got their sticker.

2018年8月2日 · Hello. We're preparing for the DS 260, and I'm wondering if we need to send the CEMAR with the other documents via CEAC? It's a CR-1 Visa application and we're specifically wondering if we need it before the interview - as in scanned and submitted to NVC with the other supporting documents. We don't have it yet, but it was ordered a week or 2 ago.

I was reading tbis thread and made me.interested.. we just got approved with our k1 and soon ill be having my interview.. i also have my annotated MC and Cemar.. i got divorced through sharia and qhat worries me is that i read so many cases like mine and most of them got visa denied for a reason of us embassy not honoribg anymore sharia divorce.. please advice!!
