2012年11月10日 · After 3 years of being in the weather, my loop antenna I built for receiving AM740 CFZM Zoomer Radio out of Toronto, Ontario Canada was damaged in a windstorm. Today, I spent most of it rebuilding it and getting it ready to go back in the air. Unfortunately, I have run out of steam and it won't go up today.

I'm listening to AM 740, Big Band Sunday Night, as I usually do on Sunday evenings. I've noticed frequent dropouts of the audio and distortion too.

CFZM AM 740 Zoomer Radio Toronto, and KCJJ 1640 Iowa City are two I can find at night. Locally I have 1570 WPTW and 1210 WDAO which plays music. Of course WSM 650 Nashville but I'm not much into Country music.-Steve

2019年11月3日 · Thoroughly enjoyed listening to this remarkable piece of mid-century tech last night, and it's nice that there's still a couple of AM stations that play good music (CFZM & WSM) that can be enjoyed on this radio. And the FM is a bonus! Here's a photo of it in action last night tuned to WSM...
