Taken on strength with the USMC in 1958 as an HR2S-2 and based at MCAS Santa Ana, MCAS El Toro, NAS Jacksonville and MCAS New River before entering MASDC in 1968. Although registered N7388 in 1981, next year it entered the museum. Delivered to the USMC as HR2S-1 145875 in 1959. Redesignated as a CH-37C in 1962.
