Carol Chen Wan-hui (Chinese: 陳琬惠; born 11 September 1974) is a Taiwanese politician.She was appointed a party-list member of the Legislative Yuan in 2022, representing the Taiwan People's Party.Chen replaced Ann Kao, who had been elected the Mayor of Hsinchu.Chen stepped down from the legislature in 2024.

Chen Wan’s research areas include automorphic forms, representation theory, trace formula, and L-functions. He is particularly interested in incorporating the trace formula and the theory of spherical varieties into the study of multiplicities, functoriality, period integrals, and L-functions.

Chen-wan L. Yen received a PhD in Theoretical Physics from MIT in 1964. She has been with Jet Propulsion Laboratory for over 40 years designing many NASA solar system exploration missions such as Voyager, Cassini, MAGELLAN, Stardust, and MESSENGER and more.
