A chiton (/ ˈ k aɪ t ɒ n, ˈ k aɪ t ən /; Ancient Greek: χιτών, romanized: chitṓn, IPA: [kʰitɔ̌ːn]) is a form of tunic that fastens at the shoulder, worn by men and women of ancient Greece and Rome.
