As I'd mentioned, nothing would have made me happier than to prove Rob/Chord right and report that the SMPS is very close/better than an aftermarket voltage source.

2018年5月10日 · The output of the TT2 is great for some of my other headphones but that low Output impedance just crushes the soundstage and is severely over damped with my Vérité. One thing I have found that works great is to put the TT2 in low gain amp mode and then run the volume control on your head amp to full open.

Of course that’s exactly what it is, but by this I mean that they have largely the same sonic signature - except the TT2 does everything better. I found it difficult to go back to the TT after hearing the TT2 because the TT2 far more transparent.
