Ciara O’Gorman is a UK and Europe accredited Child and Adult EMDR Consultant, Integrative Psychotherapist and Systemic Family Therapist. She is a UKCP approved clinical Supervisor and trauma specialist working with individuals, children, couples, families and organisations.

I am a qualified Family Therapist, International & Europe Accredited EMDR Consultant (Adult, Child and Adolescent) and Integrative psychotherapist, Supervisor and EMDR Training Facilitator. I work with children, adults,, families and couples across the lifespan.

Using powerful evidence based therapies that resolve trauma and offer the potential for change and profound healing at the deepest level, our work will support you to recognise your resilience, your strengths and your own innate ability to flourish and heal. I am passionate about healing trauma and resolving relationship conflict.

As a Systemic Family Therapist and trauma specialist I offer collaborative interventions to support your family to work through any transitions and difficulties you may be facing. Any number of events can put a strain on relationships for partners, parents and siblings.

My work with individuals and couples takes a relational, attachment and trauma informed lens. I am a passionate consultant and practitioner of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), a clinically proven intervention for the treatment of PTSD, phobias, addiction & most psychological issues.

With a specialism in the area of SEMH (Social Emotional Mental Health) and CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) accreditation from the British Psychological Society, Ciara’s goal is to support clients to enhance their communication confidence, while simultaneously striving to improve self-esteem and wellbeing.

She is a Europe accredited EMDR consultant working with both adults and children and has extensive specialist training in a multitude of trauma and neuroscience informed modalities. Ciara brings warmth and energy to her supervision practice.
