2024年11月11日 · Thank you so much for your response, it truly helped me a lot in not feeling like I was being ridiculous or crazy for wanting to go for a hysterectomy. I did talk with my doc, and he did still want to do the LEEP first to ensure it was just CIN3 and that it was contained and hadn’t spread anywhere.

2012年7月24日 · I also had 2 prior LEEPs and a CKC in June with positive margins. I have been battling CIN3 for years and ultimately made the personal decision to have a hysterectomy. GLAD I did as they found AIS deep within my cervical canal that had not been detected during any prior pap smears/ECCs, biopsies or even my CKC. Who knows how long it had been there.

2018年5月20日 · Hello. I am 32 years old with an 8 year old son. I recently had a colposcopy that showed CIN3 and also tested positive for HPV 16. I am an emotional wreck and worried about just how extensive this is. Everything felt fine so I haven't been to the gyno in 3 years and I'm so upset with myself. 2016年8月29日 · Hi Melanie, I was recently diagnosed with Adenocarcinoma In Situ (AIS) which I believe is the abnormality between CIN3 and Cancer (my doctor said I could call it "CIN4", just to understand where it sat on the scale of abnormal cell diagnosis!).

2009年12月9日 · CIN3 is "up to" the full thickness, but can be as little as slightly more than 2/3 of the thickness since CIN1 covers the first third, CIN2 up to the 2nd third, and CIN3 up to the the third third (meaning it could be 3/4 of the thickness). And, Gen, I don't think there is a diagnosis code for CIN3, so that's part of where the confusion comes in.
