In this article, we explore the different CIPS levels and offer guidance on which one may be right for you. Depending on your experience, you may begin at CIPS Level 2 (Certificate), CIPS Level 3 (Advanced Certificate), or CIPS Level 4. This entry-level course is perfect for those starting out in procurement without prior business experience.

CIPS exams take place three times a year; in May, July and November. Each level includes at least five units and requires guided learning and self study hours. A participant must clear all compulsory units and earn at least three years of work experience in a post of responsibility in procurement and supply profession experience requirements.
