2025年2月6日 · The Sheriff’s Citizen Academy is a twelve-week course designed to give citizens an overview of the police department’s function and operational procedures. There are presentations by a superior court judge, K-9 officer, S.W.A.T. team members, bomb squad technicians, narcotic officers, and many others.

The Simi Valley Police Department is proud to offer the Citizens Police Academy to members of the community. The Citizens Police Academy program is designed to increase understanding of the operational policies and procedures of the Police Department and the Ventura County Criminal Justice System.

The Citizens’ Academy is a 9-week informational series designed to give Orange County residents an inside, in-depth look at the daily operations of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department. The academy class meets once a week for a 3-hour period.

What is Citizens Academy? Citizens Academy is a FREE 11-week course designed to improve communication, foster a better understanding and develop relationships between members of the criminal justice system and our citizens, including those from different ethnic, cultural and faith-based communities. 2024年3月4日 · District Attorney Thien Ho announces applications are now being accepted for the 2024 Citizens Academy. The Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office hosts the program in partnership with the Sacramento Police Department, Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office and Sacramento County Probation Department.

The City of Carlsbad Citizens Academy is a free, seven-week program designed to give residents a behind-the-scenes look at how their city government operates. Carlsbad Citizens Academy began in February 2001, and is held annually each fall.
