The City is also working with The Forks Trading Company to make Winnipeg 150 merchandise available for purchase in their storefront and online in the near future.

A tale of two City crests: Marking 50 years of the current crest
2023年1月24日 · After much deliberation and a public contest, the crest was recommended by the former Board of Commissioners. It features the Fort Garry Gate, a reference to our City’s fur trade history, and stars symbolizing the thirteen municipal governments that were unified to create the new City of Winnipeg.
The official crest of the city, symbolizing the events Of unification together with the areas traditional heritage was adopted by City Council on January 24th, 1973.
The logo is the visual representation of the City of Winnipeg brand (CW), and it will be the first and strongest element with which people associate the brand.
