On February 17, Canada’s last day-time AM station was silenced when CKOT Country 1510 signed off the air for the last time. For the past five and a half years, CKOT-AM had been a repeater for CJDL FM Country 107.3.

In the announcement made Thursday by MBC President Jon Pole, was also news of the acquisition of CJET-FM in Smiths Falls.
