The Class 442 Wessex Electric fleet has now been retired. Following the impact of Covid-19, we withdrew these trains from use in 2021 as part of service reductions. The Portsmouth Direct route between Portsmouth Harbour and London Waterloo via Guildford will benefit from refurbished Class 458 Coradia Juniper trains in the future.
