Canberra Metro Operations (CMET) is the operator of Canberra’s Stage 1 Light Rail line between Gungahlin and Canberra City (Civic).

Stage 1 of Canberra’s light rail project, Capital Metro, involved the construction of a 12km light rail route from Hibberson Street, Gungahlin, to Alinga Street in the city centre, in Canberra, Australia. Construction of Stage 1 began in July 2016 and the light rail entered service in April 2019.
