2005年10月4日 · CMTT is not a free shipping service for military personnel to use anytime for anything. It primarily exists to move CF materiel around for CF missions. Although one of those missions can be to ship personal belongings for those entitled to it, there are caveats which you don't seem to qualify for in this case.

2005年2月25日 · Here at Trenton CMTT, Cargo, Line Crew and the Passenger Terminal all come under one command, that is after you've worked in one department for a couple of years they can move you to another with out posting you. It's a good system and you don't have to worry that your whole career is going to be the same day in day out.

2009年1月7日 · You have to be kitted out according to your D11-115 scale (as much as they can give you there) INCLUDING 3 barrack boxes. As far as the CMTT comment is concerned, ensure you have authorization to use CMTT (I highly doubt it for pre-dep trg) or your OR can tell you if you have authorization for excess bagage.

2004年9月6日 · I wouldn't start accumulating a whole bunch of stuff right away since you'll only get to CMTT (military shipping) a certain amount. I'm not sure what it is for NCMs but I know it's less than officers and we get 500lbs shipped for free.

2005年1月31日 · So I went to my base tailor today--not to alter my service dress, which is still in CMTT--and I asked about the CF patterns that one is supposed to get through the supply system in order to give to one's (civy) tailor. And the base tailor had no idea about what I was talking.

In other words you are given your orders today to deploy for a tasking Saturday morning. Other wise you are shit out of luck for excess baggage.

2011年11月7日 · One of the charms of smaller sections is that you get exposed to more aspects of the trade than in Trenton where it's fairly specialized. Cold Lake is Canada's second busiest air base by a wide margin and we serve as MAMS, line crew, cargo buildup, DG specialists, PLC, and a bit of CMTT depending on the day or the hour.
