Cold Galvanizing Compound - Pirate 4x4
Nov 22, 2016 · Updating this thread. First of all, I suck because I forgot to take pics of the finished product, but I ended up buying two quarts of ZRC cold galv. compound on Amazon to the tune of $60.00/qt. Stuff is heavy!!! like 6 lbs. a quart heavy. It's definitely 'zinc rich.' It probably took a good 15 minutes to get the stuff properly mixed by hand.

Quonset hut insulation. - Pirate 4x4
Dec 6, 2013 · I have a 40X80 Quonset hut for a shop. The peak is 20 ft. As you can imagine it gets very hot in the summer, and very cold in the winter since it is not insulated. I have gotten two quotes to spray foam insulate this thing. One was 15K, the other 17K-20K. I have heard that spray foam is awesome but that is WAY more than I want to spend.

Dec 3, 2007 · Now that the weather has started getting colder I've noticed my 02 2500HD 6.0 is stumbling when cold. I start it up and get the normal response with a higher idle. Then it settles down to around 900-1000 RPMs, it will bog down to 500 or so and truck will shift back and forth.

Home made waste oil heater - Pirate 4x4
Jan 1, 2007 · The trick we have been working on for the wood burning stoves as well as the oil burning stove in the farm shop is to build a draft pipe to bring cold outside air into the stove rather than the warm air from the house/shop to feed the fire. This reverses the draft that also accumlates a significant amount of dust in our houses.

Aug 30, 2022 · I've picked up a yj with a tbi350/700r4 swap that I am having problems with. It stalls at stop lights, meaning at temp and in gear. It will surge in gear til stall. No problems cold or when its moving. I have replaced injectors due to terrible spray pattern and cleaned the iac. When I unplug the o2 sensor it runs mint.

Jul 23, 2008 · 2) Code 22 is the engine coolant sensor or Cold Start Time switch. Either will make it hard to start, or can make it not start at all. Replace the Engine Coolant Temp Switch. Clean the cold start injector with some brake cleaner too. 3) Code 12 $ 14 would normally be the ignitor.

Mar 30, 2004 · should be a good mud motor, light hp @ high RPM, light, turbo oh and it is realy light, i like the set up, id do it my self but i do more than mud, not much bit i do, low end torque is minimal, but to solve the heat soak prob. just put a fan on it or possibly take a windsheild washer tank and pump and spray water or alcohol on it, always worked for us( ok not mud racing but …
Best way to remove mill scale? - Pirate 4x4
Jan 4, 2011 · Cold rolled has much closer tolerances with bar stock and has no scale. Because of internal stresses during the rolling process it will release that stress (or spring) more when exposed to high heat such as welding or machining. Choice of material is just as important as using the proper tool. Scale eats tools..I don't care what you use.
