Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) This ANSI accredited certification is for commissioning providers who lead, plan, coordinate, and manage commissioning teams to implement commissioning processes in new and existing buildings.

ACG strives to promote a better understanding of the commissioning process, and to identify, educate and certify qualified individuals as Certified Commissioning Authorities (CxAs), and Certified Commissioning Technicians (CxTs).

Commissioning certifications for individuals indicate that the person has a specific level of competence within commissioning. The "competence level" is defined by the certification requirements.

Building commissioning professionals ensure that new building systems are designed, installed, tested, and capable of being operated and maintained according to the owner’s intent, requirements, and operational needs.

CCP is the first commissioning certification to be recognized under the Better Buildings Workforce Guidelines Program. This means that all CCPs are recognized as qualified commissioning providers to deliver commissioning services to federally funded projects.
