2021年1月5日 · The problem with convolution reverb in general is that it's static. It uses captured impulse responses, which makes it very accurate, but at the same time, you lose a lot of control. Algorithmic reverbs on the other hand give you more control, while they are generally not as accurate when it comes to representing a real space.

2017年3月20日 · I use the convolution reverb when I need a particular sound of a particular reverb unit. Perhaps I am lazy but I do not modify the IR too much. I like a rich sounding reverb on most orchestral sections. Often it is a combination of Bricasti IR's and a Lexicon 480 (I am a big fan the lexicon's lush reverbs).

Hybrid reverb has more control, but if I had to use only one it would be Wizoo. It has a certain IR that I love for orchestral tracks. Very transparent, non-colouring, and with great depth.
