Talk to me about convolution reverbs - VI-CONTROL
2021年10月27日 · I thought the whole premise of convolution reverb (which is to say doing a convolution of a full-spectrum IR response with your own music) was that each frequency your trumpet emits, across the full spectrum of human-audible sound, is treated to the exact delay, phasing, cancellation, and whatever else is happening, that a real trumpet would be ...
Best Reverb Plugins for Cinematic Orchestral & Trailer Music - VI …
2021年1月5日 · The problem with convolution reverb in general is that it's static. It uses captured impulse responses, which makes it very accurate, but at the same time, you lose a lot of control. Algorithmic reverbs on the other hand give you more control, while they are generally not as accurate when it comes to representing a real space.
Review Berlin Studio by Samplicity - VI-CONTROL
2023年2月9日 · I want to share with you my review of Berlin Studio by Samplicity at virtualorchestration.it. This convolution reverb emulates the sound of the Teldex Studio in Berlin. The sound is just incredible and works great on a lot of virtual instruments, especially using close mics. And the best part is that you have control on each mic position available.
Convolution reverb vs algorithmic reverb?? - VI-CONTROL
2017年3月20日 · I use the convolution reverb when I need a particular sound of a particular reverb unit. Perhaps I am lazy but I do not modify the IR too much. I like a rich sounding reverb on most orchestral sections. Often it is a combination of Bricasti IR's and a Lexicon 480 (I am a big fan the lexicon's lush reverbs).
Convolution Reverb - VI-CONTROL
2020年1月18日 · The concept is the same, a convolution reverb with the possibility to use algorithmic reverb for the late reflections. I have both, and both are very good. Hybrid reverb has more control, but if I had to use only one it would be Wizoo. It has a certain IR that I love for orchestral tracks. Very transparent, non-colouring, and with great depth.
Mixing Convolution and Algorithmic Reverb - VI-CONTROL
2019年4月25日 · Or even better, if you have the ability to edit a convolution reverb impulse response, you can change how long the low frequencies resonate, versus how long higher frequencies resonate. This is something that vsl convolution reverb plug-in can do, or if you have the raw wav files of your impulse response, you can do the same thing with a wav early.
Combining Short and Long Reverbs for Orchestral Music ... - VI …
2020年7月15日 · Hi everybody, I've been experimenting with combining convolution reverb with two channels of algorithmic reverb (one long and one short). From what I understand, doing something along these lines is a common technique - soundtracks are recorded in a room and then a short and long reverb are splashed over the entire mix (and the gain is adjusted ...
Convolution Reverbs; All about the IR's - VI-CONTROL
2010年4月16日 · Lately on the convolution side of things I've been using Waves IR-1 with Todd AO (with EQ tweaks to eliminate mud) and like the final wash to be true stereo Bricasti M7 (Boston or Amsterdam Hall) which is what I started using and liking in Wizoo W2 before I was no longer able to use it when switching to intel Mac.
Recommended Convolution Reverb - VI-CONTROL
2017年5月11日 · Reverberate 2 and Seventh Heaven are special cases of convolution reverb as they sampled algorithmic reverbs for them. So they are convolution reverbs of algorithmic reverbs. If you are looking for convolution reverbs that sampled real halls here are some that come up often: Eastwest Spaces, Altiverb 7, VSL MIR or Hybrid Reverb (offers both ...
