Corail is the name given to a class of passenger rail cars of the SNCF that first entered commercial service in 1975. When introduced, the Corail carriages had improved passenger comfort, featured air-conditioning, and better levels of suspension and sound-proofing compared with previous InterCity carriages.

2024年2月12日 · After clocking up millions of kilometres, our decommissioned Corail trains make their final journey to Chalindrey, in northeastern France, to a brand-new, dedicated dismantling facility. Inaugurated in 2020, the vast red building housing the Chalindrey facility is a pop of colour in the surrounding countryside.
