Corded Ware Culture in Bohemia: Papac et al
2022年6月7日 · Interesting that the oldest CWC samples thus far tested were R1b-L151 (one of which was R1b-U106). The Linderholm et al paper, Corded Ware cultural complexity uncovered using genomic and isotopic analysis from south-eastern Poland, reported on a number of ancient samples in Małopolska in SE Poland, and all of them were R1b, mostly R1b-L151, as well, but several centuries more recent than the ...
R1b-U106 in Swedish Battle Axe Culture (a Corded Ware subgroup)
2015年6月15日 · A number of scholars over the years have linked Corded Ware and Scandinavia to the evolution of the Germanic language family. U106 has a very obvious connection to speakers of Germanic. This is just another confirmation of that connection, one that indicates that U106 was probably in on the evolution of Germanic from the beginning or at least ...

2024年4月19日 · IMHO the Y-DNA of CWC-X and early Corded Ware in Małopolska will be R1b-L151. I say that because R1b-L151 was about 73 years and more ahead of R1a-M417 in Papac's Bohemia_CW_Early group. Apparently R1a-M417 represents a somewhat later wave of CW into the west. Also, R1b-L51 has now been found in Yamnaya.

2020年7月12日 · This makes sense, because the L21+ Beaker men from Olalde et al were very Corded Ware-like (L21 is downstream of L51). Beaker apparently was a development from Corded Ware. Corded Ware is a little earlier and about 80% steppe dna. I am really looking forward to this paper. Hope they got more than one L51+ Single Grave sample.

2020年8月7日 · The recent Linderholm et al paper, Corded Ware cultural complexity uncovered using genomic and isotopic analysis from south-eastern Poland, found a number of Corded Ware skeletons that were R1b-L51. Interestingly, there was an autosomal affinity between those samples and the samples from the Afanasievo site described in Wang et al.

2021年2月27日 · It also looks like Corded Ware was the product of the mixing of Yamnaya males with some Globular Amphora females. Corded Ware was mostly Yamnaya, since the proportion of Yamnaya DNA in CWC ranges from about 60% - 80%, and the Y-DNA haplogroups are Yamnaya Y-DNA haplogroups.
Where did R1b-L51 and its subclades come from?
2022年7月28日 · Similarly, a few years ago, many people thought R1b-L51 would never show up in Corded Ware, because at that point most Corded Ware remains had been R1a-M417. Then R1b-L51 began to show up in Corded Ware, and things changed. In fact, the oldest Corded Ware remains thus far discovered and tested were R1b-L151 (downstream of L51).

2021年3月10日 · In the IIIrd millennium BC, four stages of latitudinal relations stand out, resulting in changes in the funeral rite of the Małopolska communities: I – (ca. 3000-2900 BCE) Pre-Corded, related to the appearance of the oldest kurgan communities (horizon CWC-X), II – (ca. 2800-2600 BCE) associated with the oldest Corded Ware horizon (horizon CWC-A), III – (ca. 2600-2550 BCE) linked to the ...

2023年8月3日 · Probably most of you know that R1b-L51 has been found in ancient Corded Ware samples from SE Poland, Germany, and from Switzerland. Check out the new video from David Reich, especially at around 45:00 and after. Reich says he can show that Corded Ware was descended from Yamnaya, because now they are able to see distant cousin
