Unfortunately, I am unable to use the front-panel USB connectors due to the exact reason you mentioned, prompting me to buy a USB extension cable to run from the rear I/O ports.

I currently have a 240mm PCIe 3.0 cable in a Corsair 680X and that is certainly more than long enough, 200mm would have been fine, probably even less. However, I just ordered a Corsair 5000X (same dimensions as your 5000D) so I can put 2 x 360mm radiators in it.

2021年2月8日 · im currently using the phanteks vertical mount in 5000D case, which was made for 2-slot but can easily fit a 3-slot card with the 3rd slot just hanging off the side of the mount. however, i don't recommend it because you have to hack off part of the case to access the DP/HDMI outputs.
