It should reach if there is a connector, originally there was a tach filter bolted to the intake manifold the brown tach wire plugged into, the other side of tach filter plugged into the distributor. C115 is the firewall bulkhead connector.

2006年4月6日 · I have a 1974 Corvette that I have switched over to HEI. To make the Tach work I bought a 1975 electronic tach. There are three terminals on the back of the tach.

Filter is installed between the tachometer and the tachometer signal source (usually the coil). The filter eliminates signal noise and surges caused by many ignition systems. The filter modifies the sharp up-and-down spikes into a semi-square wave signal for steady pointer readings and faster pointer response.

GM (replacement for 1975-1989 Chevrolet Corvette tachometer filter, and many other 1975-1989 GM vehicles). 2022年7月21日 · The verbiage in the instructions (from Corvette America, Willcox, and others) state the white wire connects to the tach and the brown connects to the distributor. However, these instructions are usually accompanied with a drawing that shows the exact opposite.
