Thanks to tougher emissions standards, the base engine was choked and could muster only 165 horsepower. Only 15 horsepower more than the original 6-cylinder Corvette released over 20 years earlier.

2019年7月17日 · I had a 69 Corvette that I installed a ZL1 in around 1977. That cam doesn't work well on a street car. Doesn't start when cold ,pb no vacuum and runs poorly until 3500-4000 rpm. The l71 cam is hard to beat. Remember most of your driving is under 3000 rpm.

I have a 2022 ZL1 A10 and a 2017 Corvette Grand Sport A8. Both are great cars. I test drove a Z06 before buying the GS. The ZL1, besides the cheap plastic interior, is a phenomenal car. I've tracked it twice and it's just so stable and easy to drive fast.

These cars got a power boost from the earlier C4 ZR-1 cars and now have 405 horsepower. It made them the quickest in the quarter mile. This 1995 ZR-1 was recently sold on Cars and Bids.

2017年9月28日 · The White ZL1 Corvette had a much different history than the Yellow one. It was once a part of the Otis Chandler Museum collection and is now owned by Kevin Suydam in Washington state. The White ZL1 is not nearly as well-documented as the Yellow ZL1, mainly due to questions surrounding the whereabouts of the tank sticker.
