I raced small sailboats (Larks, 420s, FJs and the like) for 4 years in college and have also had some big boat cruising experience, and feel comfortable sailing any boat under 20', but building is another matter!

Plans are from the ships plan list from Smithsonian Institution, in the unpublished Chapelle collection of yachts and small craft. It is based on the boat in figure 3 of the CHESAPEAKE BAY CRABBING SKIFFS booklet from CBMM.
