2025年2月6日 · Leading Hungarian bus manufacturer Credobus has presented the first Hungarian articulated electric bus Electronell 18 in Budapest. The manufacturer claims it’s “the world’s lightest steel-framed articulated e-bus”. Its own weight does not exceed 16 tons, which allows it to reach a range of 300 km with 25% fewer batteries.

The new Econell 18 Next is the lightest 18-meter articulated bus in the world. The unique axle-configuration and optimized frame structure is a breakthrough in weight reduction.

It’s the first full electric bus by Hungarian manufacturer Credobus, that claims the bus empty weight “does not reach 11.5 tons, which is unique among e-buses with a metal frame structure”. 2024年3月18日 · Credobus plans to launch its new battery-electric model called Electronell as a 12-metre solo bus and an 18-metre articulated bus. The solo model will launch in the first half of 2024, with the articulated vehicle following in the second half of the year. In addition to Hungary, the bus will also launch in Central and Eastern European countries.
