I've looked at the parts catalog and also found some basic stats on it (22HP Kohler, Hydro,power steering, built early-mid 90's).

My dad passed back in 2008 and his cadet has sat since. It is great cosmetic shape but as you can imagine it won't start and the tires are dry rotted. The only attachment I have for it is the 54" belly mower.

2024年8月3日 · I’ve been mowing the lawn the past 3 years with my 2284. The only way the hilly area can be mowed is with a mower that has dual rear braking system to help keep the tractor in a straight line across the hill. Most likely any 20+HP Cub Cadet with Dual brakes would do the job. Thing is he loves my 2284 and he can’t find one for sale.
