Take a moment of solace and escape into the imagination and the art. It all began in CUH in 1998, this gift of the wide and wonderful art collection. Made up of over 320 artworks donated as gifts to the hospital over the past 20 years, the artwork has all been donated for the people and by the people in CUH, the patients, visitors and the staff.

Today, CUHK ARTS is the largest Faculty dedicated to humanities research and education in Hong Kong, covering academic disciplines from Anthropology to Translation. There are 16 undergraduate major programmes and 19 MA programmes. In addition, all departments offer research programmes on M.Phil. and Ph.D. levels.

The art in the public realm of CUH is made up of a number of collections within the hospital. The primary collection, known as The Collection, began in CUH in 1998 and is made up of over 320 artworks donated as gifts to the hospital over the past 20 years.
