2003年8月6日 · Time-resolved X-ray diffraction, X-ray absorption fine structure, and first-principles density functional calculations were used to investigate the reaction of CuO and Cu 2 O with H 2 in detail. The mechanism for the reduction of CuO is complex, involving an induction period and the embedding of H into the bulk of the oxide.
Reduction of thermally grown single-phase CuO and Cu2O thin …
2022年6月30日 · Single phase CuO and Cu 2O thin films are obtained by controlled oxidation of Cu layers of 50–300 nm thickness. CuO and Cu 2O thin films are reduced in H2 atmosphere into nanoporous Cu. Reduction kinetics is monitored by in-situ real time XRD analysis. Grain sizes and strain of CuO, Cu2 O and/or Cu during reduction have been resolved.
