2025年3月19日 · POC jetties are horrible on calm days sometimes. But definitely on sporty days. Only jetty system in Texas where I have punched a wave on the way out to just find it slick calm another 1/2 mile out.

2016年10月3日 · OK, I will take one for the team on this and share my experience. A couple of years ago when my uncle still had his place in POC, I trailered my new boat down that way to fish. It is a Nauticstar XTS 214 Shallowbay. It has a tunnel pocket with a short shaft motor and is suppose to draft 11".

2021年4月7日 · I feel you on POC. I stay away from there if I can, but I have the luxury a fishing cabin down the ICW from there towards Seadrift. It's been years since I've fished out of Palacios, but when we last did, there weren't many lodging options. One motel basically. I have never looked into houses to rent, but that might be one way to go.

2020年8月23日 · POC school is K-8 and then you go to Port Lavaca for highschool. I love POC (i have had places there since last century) but it does get crowded on the weekends. Sanctuary is very nice, any home that meets their deed restrictions is probably going to start at $175sf plus docks and landscaping.

2010年4月12日 · If you want to catch a big shark you should probably go to POC and fish the hump, or anywhere on the south shoreline of West Matagorda Bay. You will find plenty of sharks in the 3-5ft range with an occaisional 6-7, all you have to do is catch a couple of nice trout and they will swim right up to you.
