Introduction. All members of the CUYC Racing Development Squad and all those participating in CUYC racing activities in any capacity must abide by this Code of Conduct.

CUYC is a student society and does not operate to make a profit. The money that you pay for the trip cost goes towards the club’s operating costs and Skylark’s maintenance and upkeep throughout the summer and the year.

RYA Start Yachting Course. This is the most basic RYA Practical Course and consists of a single weekend of sailing, learning the basics of steering, sailing and acting a useful crew member during marina maneuvres.

The CUYC Committee is organised in the standard yacht club structure of Flag Officers (Commodores), Officers, Skippers and Instructors. By the CUYC Regulations, CUYC Officers are elected for a maximum term of one year, and CUYC Skippers and Instructors sit on the CUYC Committee ex-officio.
