I downloaded the latest version of CXBX Reloaded and tried out Dead or Alive 3. It works nearly perfectly, with the only exception being at one of the levels (so far). It's the snow level titled "Snow" and there is a loud, distorted sound (possibly the wind). I've looked at gameplay videos that use CXBX and they don't have that issue.

Seriously. What I'd prefer you to do is spread this video around and support the developers of Cxbx-Reloaded instead.

2022年1月6日 · I prefer cxbx-r for games that are compatible. You don't need to dump games to ISO, so games frequently take only 1-2GB of space instead of almost full 8GB per game. Also cxbx-r is faster on my potato pc. But yeah, compatibility is lower currently, so you still need xemu for those games.

2024年3月7日 · Cxbx and dxbx are no longer maintained so that leaves Xemu. Never even heard of Vrbox 360 but the name implies that it’s for Xbox 360 and not the OG Xbox like the others. Xenia/Xenia-canary are the choices for 360. Canary has a bit of an edge.

2021年10月4日 · CXBX-R still has its merits. For the handful of games it does work with, they play much smoother than they do on Xemu and have practically-nonexistant load times. Xemu is generally the better emulator, but it's a lot more CPU-intensive and as of yet doesn't have any way to lift the framerate cap and things like that.

2022年5月14日 · You could manually add that file support as ShinShinGogetsuko says, but it won't help you because Cxbx doesn't support that format. The only way is to mount it as a drive and run xbe from that drive, at least according to some googling:
