Years ago I had an awesome manager that recommended I keep a CYA (cover your ass) folder in my email inbox. I have done so at every job I've had since and it's let me out of trouble on a few occasions.

This is easy to do using the OVERRIDE_BACKUP_DIRECTORIES variable in cya.conf located in the /home/cya/ directory. Now when using this variable it should be noted ALL default entries will be cleared.
