The Cyrix Battery Combiner is a microprocessor controlled heavy duty relay that automatically connects batteries in parallel when one of them has reached a pre-set voltage (indicating that the battery is being charged), and disconnects when the voltage decreases below float level (indicating that one or more batteries are being discharged).

The software of the Cyrix -ct 12/24 does more than simply connect and disconnect based on battery voltage and with a fixed time delay. The Cyrix -ct 12/24 looks at the general trend (voltage increasing or decreasing) and reverses a previous action only if the trend has reversed during a certain period of time.

2024年2月24日 · I have installed a Cyrix-ct in my 4X4 to isolate the main starting battery from the secondary "leisure" battery. The AGM leisure battery is also connected to a solar panel through a Victron regulator but to the charging system through a CTEK (sorry!)

2020年4月6日 · The Cyrix-Ct has bi-directional smart sensing and will combine if it detects that either battery is being charged. It will use the trend of the voltage sensed as well as the actual voltage to determine when to combine.

2024年5月31日 · My current setup for my minivan is a cyrix CT that connects the starter battery with the leisure AGM battery. I'm planning to replace the leisure AGM with a Lifepo4 battery, so I understand that I have to replace also the cyrix-ct with the li-ct.
