The vz. 24 rifle is a bolt-action carbine designed and produced in Czechoslovakia from 1924 to 1942. It was developed from the German Mauser Gewehr 98 line, and features a similar bolt design. The rifle was designed in Czechoslovakia shortly after World War I, to replace the Vz. 98/22, also a Czech derivative of the Gewehr 98.

Among the weapons which fell into German hands was the CZ M24, the standard pistol of the Czechoslovakian Army. This example was one of a batch of 3,300 pistols of this model which were sold to Finland in September 1940. It bears both Czech and Finnish military marks.

The upper hand guard extends behind the rear sight, the bolt is straight, and the lower band is secured by a screw through the stock. 2023年3月28日 · It is one of my Vz 24 rifles that has been reborn as a Yugo M24/52-č. In my opinion it’s a beautiful rifle. All of the numbers match. The stock being the only thing that is identifiably force matched. This rifle appears to retain all of the traditional Vz 24 features sans the front sight hood.
