Eigrp Summary default route showing as D*EX, not D*
when I do " ip summary-address eigrp 10 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 5" on interface Fa1/0", it summerizes fine but with D*EX. Where I am expecting to see D* because of the summery. I also have redistributed the same route to Eigrp. I must be missing something, please help. Thanks in advance.

Hi Nima, When you inject any other non-eigrp routes into EIGRP routing domain using redistribution, the EIGRP router will show these routes as D EX (whrer EX means- external routes). and the 170 is not a metric it is Administrative Distance (AD) for eigrp external routes.
